Hello, my name is Ali Ambrosio.
I’m an artist, jeweler, translator and traveler. Origins and Routes is the theme that runs through all of my work, regardless of the medium. It's about where we are from and where we are going, the unexpected paths we take along the way, and the people we love who inspire our journeys.
I’m interested in hybrid identities, how we embody and transform our heritage, and stories of immigration and homecoming; I'm inspired by the richness of language and wonders of geography, the connections we make when venturing into the world with open hearts, and the peace we find when living slowly, simply, authentically.
I was born and raised riginally from New Mexico, my mom’s family has roots in the Italy-Slovenia border area, I've felt the joys and complexities of calling more than one place “home” from an early age.
