About Ali Amaro

Ali Amaro is an artist, jeweler, translator, and traveler. Her creative practice, Origins and Routes, explores themes of identity, heritage, and cross-cultural connections. She is based in San Francisco, has roots in the Italy-Slovenia border region, grew up in New Mexico, and previously lived in Brazil and Mozambique.

Ali holds a BFA in Jewelry/Metal Arts from the California College of the Arts (2013), as well as an MBA in Marketing (2003) and a dual BA in Latin American Studies and Portuguese (2002) from the University of New Mexico.

Currently Ali works with clients on heirloom repurposing projects, custom jewelry design, and painting commissions. She also organizes travel experiences at Villa Cantoni, her family's place of origin in Gorizia, Italy. Inquire about availability and upcoming events here:
